Delete your TailVet account

You can request account deletion in the app or by email.

Delete from the app

  1. Sign in to TailVet with the Google account associated with your profile.
  2. Open your Profile tab and choose Delete account.
  3. Review the deletion notice and confirm. You may be asked to sign in again to verify your identity.

Deletion removes your account profile, pet profiles, reminders, standalone symptom checks and photos, and consultation chat messages. Your vet profile is also removed if you are a veterinarian.

Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, email us from the Google account registered with TailVet. Include “TailVet account deletion” in the subject and tell us the account email address. Do not send passwords or payment information.

Email a deletion request
Records retained for audit: appointment and prescription records may be de-identified and retained for up to 730 days from creation or issue. A minimal deletion record without your name, email, or photo may also be retained for up to 730 days. Binding legal requirements may require limited records to be retained longer.
